German Christmas Tree Ornaments

Decorating a tree with German Christmas ornaments is one of the most pleasing things you can do during the holiday season. The German holiday decorations come in all styles and sizes. They are often made from glass, pewter, wax or wood. Many depict traditional characters like Santa and the snowman, while others are crafted in religious themes and characters. There are hand crated German decorations to suit just about any decorating theme.

Mouth blown glass ornaments have been made by Germans since the middle of the 1800’s. Their holiday decorations quickly became popular with the German people, and were soon exported to England. Today, the lovely baubles are exported to all areas of the world. They have become a part of our time honored holiday season traditions.

christmas ornamentsGerman craftsmen have been making wax ornaments for an even longer period than the glass ones. The first wax decorations were sold at local markets for villagers to use to adorn their trees. Wax decorations are still being made in Germany today. They are also exported and sold world wide. Due to the fact that they melt under high temperatures, it is best to have them shipped during the cooler months of the year.

Perhaps the most famous of all German Christmas ornaments are the hand crafted wooden ones. German craftsmen have been carving figurines from wood for centuries. Other than nuts and cookies, wooden carved decorations were probably the first type of ornament used by the Germans to decorate their Christmas trees. Even now, after the art of carving has been handed down for generations, wooden decorations from Germany are still extremely popular and sold all over the world.

The craft of making pewter baubles and decorations dates back to more than 200 years ago in Germany. Each pewter piece is hand crafted, polished and hand painted. Pewter decorations come in small sizes, special for use as tree adornments, as well as large decorative scenes to use as window hangings during the holiday season.

We can thank Germany for their long history of producing hand crafted Christmas decorations, and also for the art and tradition of trimming Christmas trees. They were also the first people to decorate trees at Christmastime, a delightful tradition that has been adopted by millions of families all 1000 over the world. To many of us, it just wouldn’t be Christmas without a beautiful tree decorated brightly with glittering ornaments.

These Awesome Vintage Christmas Ornaments

With all of the rushing hullabaloo and ultra advanced engineering of this age people sometime become nostalgic for more "simple-minded" times particularly around the Christmas holidays. Norman Rockwell’s imaginary - marvelous pictures of Victorian villages under the snow, children eagerly expecting the coming of the Great Saint Nicholas while happy carolers singing. The views of eggnog and trimming a beautiful tree make us feel joyful. These are the reasons why many people want vintage Christmas ornaments for decorating their homes. Unfortunately, actual vintage decorations are not only very expensive but they are very hard to acquire as well.

Few years ago, this nostalgic desire for items from the past caused a boom in such items and opened the way for a new kind of industry: the artistic creation of vintage Christmas decorations. A lot of web based and normal retail outlets specializing in vintage items now offer handmade classic Christmas decorations made of silver or tin with that old world look. Hand-blown, gorgeous glass ornaments to dazzle the eye, vintage 1920s looking tin decorations engraved with the first renditions of jolly old Saint Nick, and softly glowing bubble lights in an array of beautiful colors.

Maybe an old fashioned way tin tree top star or arrow on the top of the tree decorated with a scene coming from Norman Rockwell’s imagination or a silver and gold foil angel.

Decorating Glass OrnamentsA handmade garland of popcorn hanged on the tree along with glass ‘icicles’ glowing by the light of burning candles. Tiny handmade decorations that look like wrapped gifts and glass, tin, or silver and/or gold decorations that look like apples. There was a time when people would put tiny candles in holders just made for such a use all over the tree. Because this use has proven to be a rather risky fire hazard there are many other options available that give the old world candle aspect without the open flame.

Wreaths made of foil and tin with brass bells tied are now available in addition to the even more traditional wreaths made of pine boughs and holly with gold pine cones and leaves dried flowers. I personally would opt for a splendid vintage garland made of small pine limbs and decorated with gold pine cones and dried fruits rather than a artificial one.

For a lot of us, Christmas holidays are a period of the year to relax and think of a time when things weren’t so harried. While we forget the humdrum of our life as well as the nine to five, we make use of Christmas to nostalgically dreaming of Victorian wintertimes, when humans, like any other creature on earth, had a little rest. It is for sure the reason why a lot of us love the beautiful and wonderful vintage Christmas decorations: they create for us the warm and soft ambiance of the past. So break out the Norman Rockwell decorations and have yourself a vintage Merry little Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Glass Ornament Repairs In Jacksonville, Florida, Fl

Jacksonville is known for its unique Christmas traditions. During the holidays, this largest city in Florida comes alive with all of its lights and ornaments. Many homes are illuminated with Christmas trimmings. Everything is just wonderfully extravagant in Jacksonville during the holiday season.

The flock of large numbers of guests to the many homes in this city often leads to the damage of some Christmas decors. Since there are many people around, it is a common sight to find broken glass ornaments scattered in some parts of the home. Seeing many items that need repair after a party should never dampen the festive spirits of homeowners in the area. There are plenty of ways to restore these broken ornaments. You can do the repair yourself and use the put the dcor back in place so it can be appreciated during the rest of the holiday season.

An ornament on a Christmas tree is a very precious token. It may have a little history behind it and that is why the family puts a lot of sentimental value on it. You can use your crafty traits to put the glass pieces together. Here are a few tricks to help you:

Red Mercury Glass Ornaments  1. Try to pick up all the broken glass pieces and put them together. You may wear hand gloves while doing this to avoid cuts from the sharp broken glass. Make sure you have all the pieces so that you can still put the thing back to its original shape.

2. Find a glue of good quality. Carefully glue the pieces together until it is a perfect whole. Keep your gloves on as you do this so that you will not get glue on your hands. Wipe off the excess glue so your work will come off clean and untarnished.

3. Hold and press down the glued areas so they will stick well. You can put the ornament in front of a fan to speed up the drying process of the glue. You can make final changes before the glue completely dries up. Make sure that the pieces are perfectly put together so that the ornament does not look broken.

4. When you are done with putting the pieces together, you can now put the repaired dcor on an egg crate. This will allow the ornament to dry safely. However, you have to make sure that the glue will not come in contact with the crate. Otherwise, the ornament will stick to the crate.

5. You can use some small items you can find in the house if you need to replace some parts in the ornament. This is your chance to be creative and to spice up the ornament if you have to. The repair can turn out to be a blessing in disguise if you are able to make it better.

6. If the Christmas ornament is too damaged and there are many small broken pieces involved, you will have to send to the ornament to a repair shop near you. This is also advisable if the ornament is expensive and you do not want to risk causing any further damage to it. But use this only as a last resort because this will only add up to your expenses during the holiday season.

Christmas Storage Ornament Tips

Storing your Christmas ornaments can be difficult, because it can often be hard to figure out what types of containers will be best for which ornaments. This can lead to a lot of confusion as to where specific items are stored, as well as broken ornaments, so proper storage is important. If you can avoid breaking things, and keep your ornaments stored safely, you will be able to use them again year after year.

Container Size

Be sure that you are storing your ornaments and breakables in the correct sizes of containers. You will want to use containers that are suitable for what you are storing. For instance, some things can be put into larger storage containers, such as big garlands, stockings, or Christmas lights. Items that do not have breakable pieces, and that are larger, can easily be put into bigger storage containers, and this will allow for these items to be stored much more securely. However, if you have smaller items, you are going to need to store these in smaller containers, so that they are stored securely. Try not to just throw all of your tree ornaments in the same big tub. First, put each ornament or set of ornaments into smaller boxes that will hold them securely in a way that prevents breakage. Then, you can put all of the smaller boxes into the same bigger tub.

To find the right sizes of containers, you will also need to separate your items correctly. Another useful tip to follow when it comes to storing your Christmas ornaments is to make sure you store them in containers with like items. For instance, all of your lights should be in one large tub, while all of your nativity scene figures should be in a small box. Put all the tinsel in one place, all the balls in another, and so on. You will want to keep things separated and in their own sized containers for the best chance at safe and easy storage. It also means that next Christmas, it is much easier to find the specific items you need, when you need them.

Marbelized With Paint Glass OrnamentsRemember that for Christmas balls and other decorations, storage containers with built in compartment to separate them and keep them from knocking together are very useful tools for you. They might cost a bit more, but they will save you a lot in the long run by keeping your items safe for you for seasons to come. You can also get irregular sized containers for big items, like wreaths or trees.

Storage Materials

There are two parts to using appropriate materials when storing Christmas ornaments. First of all, use good materials when wrapping ornaments and storing them in their individual boxes. Paper or other packing materials should be used on fragile items even if they are stored separately in a box without anything else near them. You will still want to wrap them securely so that you can be sure they will store safely and keep all year.

Secondly, you need to double check which types of materials you are using to store your Christmas and holiday items in. Cardboard or other types of boxes can be used, but only if they are used for smaller items and then the boxes are put into something more secure. To store the sets of cardboard boxes, and to store larger things, you want to use secure plastic tubs or containers with lids that are air-tight.

There are several reasons to use these things when you are storing your ornaments. First of all, you will probably be keeping them in the basement or attic, and you want to keep them safe and free of pests and dust. Also, you want to keep them water-tight as well. If moisture gets into your storage containers, you will find that things break and are ruined much more quickly, even if they do not become water-logged.

Where to Store?

Another aspect to storing your Christmas ornaments is to store them all in appropriate places. Although the attic might have much more room than the basement, you have to think about what you are storing and how it will all be affected by changing temperatures. If you have glass ornaments, or even plastic ones, they might be damaged by extremely hot temperatures or extremely cold temperatures. Therefore, you do want to think carefully about your items and make sure that they are being stored in a controlled environment.

Labeling

Nothing ruins a Christmas more than your favorite box of ornaments being accidently donated to charity, or set out with the trash. Always be sure that when you are storing your ornaments, you label them correctly and keep the boxes together. This will keep your ornaments safe for you for years to come.

Decorating With Glass Christmas Ornaments

Posted by admin | Glass Ornaments | Monday 17 August 2009 12:22 am

In days past the Christmas tree was hung with every type of decoration someone thought would look good. There were crocheted pieces, paper chains, icicles, and glass bulbs. They came in so many different colors the tree would look like a rainbow. Then people started getting more select in their choices. Styles were changing. The traditional Christmas tree became a work of art. New glass ornaments became available. This started taking on a new look. People could choose from hand painted designs, specialized ornaments, and personalized ones. The range of colors grew as well. Now the tree could be color coordinated with the decor of the house. The evolution of the glass bulb has grown even further today.

Glass Christmas ornaments grouped into themes. There are stained glass ones, etched ones, and so many more. You can walk into any store and find Currier and Ives or Thomas McCain on the more traditional globes. There are fantasy creatures like fairies and dragons for the younger crowd. Specialty ornaments are available which represent lines of work like teachers, firefighters, and police men. Hobby enthusiasts can find ornaments which reflect their favorite pastime from fishing to photography. Some of the most exquisite ones are from overseas. These unique bulbs are usually hand blown glass. They come in all different shapes and sizes. There are animals, snowflakes, and teardrops. Some are more traditional with hand painted detailing. They are spectacular to behold.

wholesale christmas tree ornamentsTradition is strong when it comes to decorating the tree. Some people choose an ornament each year to commemorate the year. There are glass Christmas ornaments designed for this group. The ornaments can be custom ordered with names and dates. Some craftsmen will hand paint the ornament with specific instructions. Wedding and anniversary ornaments are gaining popularity as well. The etched glass ornaments are popular for this tradition.

Fun and whimsical ones are a pleasure to look at. These can range from a pretzel twist to cartoon characters. There are so many to choose from it is sometimes hard to decide. Many people can not and just choose what ever strikes their fancy. These are the people who’s trees can tell a story. Everywhere on the tree will be something that tells about the family who decorated it.

christmas ornamentsGlass Christmas ornaments are extremely fragile. Special care must be given each year to preserve the collection of color and tradition. There are specially designed storage boxes for keeping the keepsakes safe during storage or transport. It would be wise to invest in some of these storage boxes if the collection is large.

As each year passes, the collection of them grows. There are new ones available all the time. There are times when someone will stumble upon a forgotten box in the attic. The contents can be amazing. The old time craftsmanship used to create some of the traditional globes has been forgotten. The care and precision of the painting is a true work of art. These are the globes which should be given a place of honor on the tree. These are the glass Christmas decorations which delighted the eyes of children in the family from generations ago. The beauty should never be forgotten.

Glass Ornaments

Posted by admin | Glass Ornaments | Monday 11 May 2009 6:22 am

Many people find their outfit incomplete if it is not accompanied by ornaments. While there are many materials from which such beautifiers are made, none is as outstanding and eye-striking as those made of glass. This is a material that has a variety of uses like building and decoration. The aesthetic value of the material cannot be overemphasized. Not only can you admire its beauty on buildings, but you can carry the beauty around as part of your outfit.

Glass ornaments are today on high demand because they come in many colors, designs and themes. The moment you use them to grace your house, everything turns into a beauty icon. The best thing with such beauty items is that you can use them to enhance the outlook of a given occasion. For example, during Christmas, you will find that you can actually use glass decorations to add beauty to the atmosphere. You can also use them to beautify a cake. This you can do by placing them as toppers on wedding or birthday cakes.

The beautifiers come in many models too, for example, you will find those that have been etched, sun blasted or even stained with different colors for the purpose of increasing the beauty value of the same. Think of the Santa motifs you see around on windows during Christmas. You may think that they have simply been painted but there could be more to it.

The glass ornaments you choose to buy should be safe enough for display in the house especially if there are small children. Small sizes ones have a risk of being swallowed and causing internal injury, not to mention that they can cause cuts and bruises if they break.

Glass and Beaded Christmas Ornaments

Posted by admin | Glass Ornaments | Monday 11 May 2009 6:21 am

Christmas glass ornaments come in all shapes and colors and types of glass. You can buy mass-produced ornaments as well as specially handcrafted ones.

Christmas Ornaments:

Christmas Ornaments have become such a prominent part of the Christmas festivities that the holiday season would somehow seem incomplete without them. The tradition of using Christmas Ornaments began in the 16th Century in Lauscha in Germany. The story goes that a glass-blower called Hans Griener couldn’t afford to buy the then-fashionable tree ornaments - apples, candies, nuts - to decorate his Christmas Tree with, so he made small fruit-shaped and nut-shaped glass baubles. The idea caught on with his customers and soon his glass ornaments were in great demand. He began making them in all sorts of shapes, including spherical, which proved the most popular. Given the profit he made, it’s not surprising that his example was followed by the other glassblowers in town and soon Lauscha became renowned as THE center for producing glass baubles in Germany and soon after in the world.

Queen Victoria had a Christmas Tree decorated with Lauscha glass ornaments, and the American businessman F. W. Woolworth did well for himself importing the baubles to the U.S.A. Later on, mass production replaced the hand-blown glass-making, and other people around the world decided to have a go at making the baubles too.

Christmas glass ornaments now come in all shapes and colors and types of glass. You can buy mass-produced ornaments as well as specially handcrafted ones. There are many glass-artists selling their creations on the Internet, as well as in craft shops and at craft fairs. For some unique ornaments, be sure to check those out.

Glass and Beaded Christmas Ornaments

The most favorite glass Christmas ornaments in modern times seem to be the Christmas Ball (the round bauble, or ball, as it is known in the USA), the Christmas Pickle (shaped like an actual pickle and hidden in the Christmas, and the person who finds it gets an extra present for the effort), the Glass Snowflakes, and the Christmas Star (which nobody has to search for; it has the envied position on top of Christmas Tree).

glass christmas ornaments
Apart from glass ornaments, beaded ornaments are plenty popular too at Christmas time. You can drape beaded garlands about the Christmas Tree to add to the Christmas cheer. You can string up beaded birds or flowers or fruits. Just about any shape you want, you can find in the market.

If you’re not buying Christmas ornaments at Christmas time, you either -
a. Are not into the whole shebang of Christmas and Christianity.
b. Have Christmas ornaments bequeathed to you by your ancestors.
c. Have Christmas ornaments well-preserved from previous years.
d. Hate the whole commercialization of Christmas and the corporate aspects of mass production.
e. Are a Do-It-Yourself type and not in the mind to hang up last year’s debacles.
f. Like to create anew every year.

How to make Christmas ornaments:

Actually, you know, whatever your political or religious views, why not have a go at making some Christmas ornaments of your own? A creative activity is always fulfilling and, given that Christmas is a social time, you can have the added satisfaction of having your friends and family admire your creations glittering from the Christmas tree. If you don’t have a tree, well, you can gift your beautiful baubles and much-appreciated gifts they will be too.

To start out, recycle material you have around the house or visit a crafts shop and buy the following -

  • Glass Christmas ornaments (get a pack in the size you want)

  • Glass Beads (round, oval, hexagonal, elongated, or incised, and in any or all the colors you want)

  • Plastic Beads (round, oval, hexagonal, elongated, or incised, and in any or all the colors you want)

  • Tinsel

  • Glitter

  • Craft Paint

  • Erasers shaped like candies, fruit, and nuts

  • White or colored feathers

  • Lace

  • Silver Pipe Cleaner

  • Iridescent Pipe Cleaner

  • Soft Brass Wire

  • Wire Cutter

  • Wire Jig

  • Needle-nose Pliers

  • Round-nose Pliers

Fill different glass balls to the brim with different materials - beads, tinsel, glitter, tinsel and glitter, erasers, erasers and glitter, lace, lace and tinsel, lace and glitter, lace and beads, silver pipe cleaner, silver pipe cleaner and glitter, iridescent pipe cleaner, iridescent pipe cleaner and glitter, feathers, feathers and glitter.

You can also colorize the glass balls by dripping regular or glitter paint or both inside and achieving different interesting effects. Make sure you’re happy with the results and then cap the balls shut. For beaded ornaments, make a wire pattern you want using the wire jig. Place the jig pins in the desired shape and loop the wire about them. Make a bottom loop, string on the beads in the pattern or sequence you want, and then make a closing loop. Make a wire hook for dangling your ornament.

Christmas Ornaments: New Ideas for Old Decorations

Posted by admin | Glass Ornaments | Monday 11 May 2009 6:21 am

Are you tired of the same old ornaments you’ve been using for years, but don’t want to get rid of them? Don’t throw them out or give them away, just come up with a new way to display them! We have great ideas to help you get started.

Most families have a collection of Christmas ornaments they display on their tree year after year. Often times, these ornaments are full of sentimental value. However, when you’ve been using the same ornaments for many years, they can also get a little boring. The important thing to remember is, you don’t have to part with your old ornaments in order to freshen up your tree. Hang onto those treasured items and find a new way to display them.

When getting ready to clean out an old collection of Christmas ornaments, the first step is to weed out any items that are worn or broken. Some things you may be able to repair easily, while others will need to be thrown away for safety reasons. Next, go through the remaining ornaments and decide what you want to keep. If there are ornaments you don’t want to keep, but also don’t want to donate to charity, consider handing them down to another family member. The gift of an old heirloom ornament might mean a lot to someone else in the family.

collectible christmas ornamentsNow that you’ve got your old Christmas ornaments cleaned out and you’ve decided what to keep, the next step is figuring out how to display them. If you still want to display them on the main Christmas tree in your house, then consider ways to freshen up the look of your tree. If you currently use an artificial tree, you might want to consider getting a live Christmas tree this year, or perhaps just purchasing a new artificial one in a different size or color. Adding a new set of ornaments in coordinating (or differing) colors will spruce up the look of the tree. You might also consider new lights. For example, if you’ve always used multi-colored lights in the past, try using plain white. You’ll probably find that your holiday ornaments stand out a lot more. You could also add some other types of decorations to your tree to make it feel new again. Consider adding strings of beads, tinsel, feathers, floral accents…the sky’s the limit! For a really unique and whimsical tree, you can add almost any item and it will simply add character to the tree and make it more interesting.

glass christmas ornamentIn some cases, you may not want to put your old ornaments back on your main Christmas tree. After all, you’ve been using them there for years, so why not come up with a totally new way to display them? One option is to purchase another, smaller tree that you set up in another part of the house, and use only your old decorations on that tree. If your collection of old ornaments isn’t very big, a small tabletop tree will probably be large enough, and these smaller trees can be lovely on an end table or buffet, in a foyer, or on a countertop in a guest bathroom.

Old ornaments also make a nice display in a lighted curio cabinet. Try accenting the display with old photos of your family around the tree when it was decorated with those ornaments. Old ornaments can also be very carefully placed down inside a large clear glass vase, bowl, or hurricane lamp. This is a beautiful way to display your ornaments, while still keeping them safe. You can then use the vase or bowl as a centerpiece on your holiday table.

Be sure to choose a good, safe method of storage for your old ornaments. When packed away, you don’t want them touching one another, because they may get scratched or broken. Also be sure to pack them toward the top of your boxes. Remember, the more you have to dig for something, the more likely it is to get broken.

So next time you’re cleaning out your holiday decorations, don’t throw out old ornaments simply because you’re tired of them. There are many new and fresh ways to display old items. With a little time and creative thinking, you too can come up with a unique new way to display your old memories.

Hand Grenade Christmas Ornament
I know it is a little early for Christmas gadgets and gizmos, but here is a fun Christmas ornament, the Hand Grenade Ornament.

Christmas Ornaments
We all have treasured Christmas ornaments stashed away in boxes labeled “Christmas Decorations.” These were made fef over the years by family, friends, and especially dear to all of us are the ones created by our children.

Looking for a special Christmas ornament?
I have decided to try my hand at selling Christmas ornaments this year. I love being crafty, but I don’t like to have crafty clutter all over! So, the solution is to make things that I can give away, or better yet, sell.

Personalized Christmas Ornaments

Christmas is a season when you must make everyone feel special, and personalized Christmas ornaments can make you do just that. Whether you are planning to keep the personalized Christmas ornaments for yourself or give them as gifts, they will be sure to add greatly to the celebrations. These are some popular ideas for personalized Christmas ornaments that you will find this year.

Christmastime is a time of giving. And what better can you give than something that is especially made for the recipient? Apart from putting a very huge smile on the face of the lucky person who gets your personalized Christmas ornaments as gifts, you are also making it possible for them to cherish the moment forever.

Personalized Christmas ornaments are just what their name suggests. They are tiny decorative things that you can hang around in various places around your house at Christmas, especially on the Christmas trees. Such ornaments look quite good on the trees among the lights and other kinds of decoration. Or you can simply let them sit on your shelf or in a display case. These pieces of decoration look good wherever you decide to keep them.

The best thing is, of course, that the personalized Christmas ornaments are unique. So, whether you are getting them made for yourself, or getting them made to be given as a gift, you can be sure that they are special to the owner. And nobody else will have a twin of the same ornament on their trees.

Many designs and themes abound when you are thinking of getting personalized Christmas ornaments. The most popular ones are the Santa ornaments. They show cute little Santas in different poses and generally there is a place to write the name of the person or the family for whom the gift is intended. One ornament I saw when browsing the Internet had a Santa on his sleigh driven by the reindeers, and each reindeer was carrying a flag with a name of a member of the family. Of course, such ornaments will be bigger in size and you will not be able to hang them from the tree, but they can look very good and meaningful on a shelf, or even in the middle of the dining table. And when Christmas is over, you can keep it in your display case to be brought out only next year.

It is almost a tradition to place an angel at the top of the Christmas tree. Most angel ornaments are made with that intention in mind. Cherubs are also quite popular, and then there are other motifs such as turtledoves, little elves, etc. that can be used. All these can be personalized with the name of the owner of the gift.

Another good idea is to get a photo of the person who will be keeping the gift and using it on the personalized Christmas ornament. An example is a photo frame with a very Christmassy border, full or wreaths and holly and even candy sticks. Nowadays, the Christmas mugs are also becoming popular - these have a Christmas scene on one side and a picture of the owner of the mug on the other side. White is the popular color for making these mugs, but you can get them in the Christmas colors of red and green also. Some online retailers will also make a set of mugs for everyone in the family with their individual pics.

Personalizing Christmas ornaments is not just about putting the name of the person on the gift, though. There are many other - and more interesting ways - in which you can personalize their ornaments. For example, there are ornaments for special professions that can be given. If you are gifting a Christmas ornament to a doctor, you might get a stethoscope ornament with holly around it, or if you are gifting something to a person working in the Fire Department, you might get a fire brigade truck. Such personalized ornaments do represent a lot of feeling, and will indicate to the person that you went to some lengths to acquire the ideal ornament for them.

Then there are personalized Christmas ornaments that can indicate some significant happening in the family that year. Was there a wedding close to Christmastime? You can get Christmas couple ornaments which you can personalize with the name of the couple. If there was a baby that year, then baby Christmas ornaments, replete with the name of the baby are easy to get too. Similarly, you can work out your personalized Christmas ornaments with wedding anniversaries, job retirements and even special holidays that the family had in the year.

Quite undoubtedly, the Internet is the best place to do your personalized Christmas ornaments shopping. There are several websites that specialize in their own unique Christmas ornaments and ideas for personalizing them. You will have to place your orders at least a month in advance, though, because there is always a great rush of customers in these places during Christmastime. You can also have the ornament directly shipped to the receiver with a beautifully personalized Christmas wishes note. And, of course, if you are ordering in bulk for many people, you can get some good discounts also.

da Polonia Ornaments
The images shown above are just one style of ornament among many. There are hundreds of glass ornaments at da Polonia. The artist Mia creates balls/round glass ornaments, molded/figural ornaments, and free blown or free form glass.

Glass Ornaments
I love these glass ornaments. First seen at the Renaissance Fair, I really wanted to buy one and just keep on staring at it as it spins and spins. The problem was there were so many lovely ones, which one to buy?

Glass Ornaments
These aren’t the best types of ornaments to buy though if you will be having children around. They don’t realize how fragile such ornaments are. You can buy complete collections of glass ornaments or just buy those that catch your eye.
